Position Description
Pramila for Congress is seeking passionate undergraduate students, or high school students with applicable references, to assist with organizing, voter engagement and resistance-building efforts in Washington’s 7th Congressional District. Field Interns will work closely with the campaign Field Organizers to execute a district-wide organizing strategy.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Pramila for Congress Field Organizers in day-to-day campaign operations and strategic planning
- Carry out essential functions of the campaign field program, including recruiting volunteers, leading canvasses and phone banks and digital organizing
- Help Field Organizers plan and execute days of action, rallies, press events, canvasses, and phone banks focused on key issues and progressive candidates
- Conduct campus outreach through class wraps, organizational pitches and tabling
- Promote positive experience for volunteers and activists

- Hours: 10-15 hours per week commitment, including weekends and evenings
- Duration: Pramila for Congress will be organizing through November 2018. Opportunities for seasonal internships available.
