Let America Vote is a grassroots organization started by former Army captain and Missouri Secretary of State Jason Kander that brings people from across the country together to advocate for voting rights and politicians that will protect our right to vote. We are currently looking for bright, energetic individuals who want to join our ground game effort in this fight, and we want to make sure that that students in your program at University of Washington know about this opportunity. Could you forward the information included below to them?
While I am based in Nevada, our organization knows that we have a lot of work to do to ensure that we elect the people who will curb the rising trend of voter suppression across the country. As such, we are looking for applicants from schools all over the country to get involved. There is no previous experience necessary to join, and although both the internship and fellowship programs are unpaid, we can likely provide complimentary housing for any accepted interns who will need to relocate to Nevada or any of our other states.
If you would prefer, you could also just direct them to the internship page of our website: www.letamericavote.org/intern or you can share this video with them with testimonials from interns who participated in our program in 2017.
If you have any questions about this or want to receive more information from us about it, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Thanks!
