King County Bar Association Job Opening for Three Program Assistant Positions

The King County Bar Association is recruiting for three program assistant positions requiring similar qualifications, though duties will be slightly different. We will interview a group of applicants who have the most relevant mix of these qualifications before determining which specific position is the best fit for selected applicants and KCBA.

Qualifications:

BA or equivalent combination of education and experience is required (students anticipating graduation in May or June 2019 are encouraged to apply).  Applicants must also be proficient with Microsoft Office; be an effective communicator including having a positive customer service attitude; demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail, and have the ability to coordinate a number of tasks and projects simultaneously.  We also seek applicants with a commitment to access to justice and diversity. 

Positions pay between $35-40k per year depending on experience, with a competitive benefits package including employer contributions to a 401k plan and full coverage of employee's share of healthcare insurance.

Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Assistant

The CLE Assistant is primarily responsible for assisting the CLE Senior Manager with all aspects of the King County Bar Association (KCBA) events and educational programs.

Member Services Assistant

The Member Services Assistant coordinates events and educational programs assist with the annual membership campaign and provide support to the Young Lawyers Division (YLD) Board and YLD activities. 

Pro Bono Services Assistant

Work with the Pro Bono Services Department, new volunteers, and the Associate Executive Director to ensure the smooth operation of the Department and various committees. This position provides general, administrative, and committee support; LegalServer Database training; grant support, tracking and reporting; and volunteer onboarding support.
