Class information: BE220 explores how cities contribute to "health and well-being," which covers diverse aspects such as security, basic needs, positive social relations, freedom, choices and opportunities in regards to the city. It evaluates an urban future, at the same time, debating on strategies for rehabilitating contemporary cities as well as to build the new and sustainable ones. This class mainly focuses on lecture and group discussions.
