The Counseling Center is offering free workshops and drop-in groups that teach skills related to stress management, managing thoughts and emotions, mindfulness, and more. Spring 2020 Workshops

EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION

Learn how to decide when to say no, when to ask for something, and how to communicate effectively.

Time: 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 4th
Who: All students
Cost: Free
Facilitators: Beth Blum, Psy.D. and Nicole Montes, M.A.

LOCKED IN – WHAT WE HAVE LOST & DEALING WITH UNCERTAINTY

Join in with peers to share about your loss and uncertainty, receive support and validation, and discuss how we are coping.

Time: 3:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Dates: Tuesday, May 26th and Tuesday, June 2nd
Who: All students

OUT @ HOME

Drop-in communal space for folks who identify as LGBTQ+ or questioning.

Time: 3:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
