 International Student Panel: Fellowships for Graduate Study in the US

The Graduate School Office of Fellowships & Awards and the Office of Merit Scholarships, Fellowships & Awards are partnering to host a panel of international student scholarship/fellowship awardees who will be discussing their experiences applying for fellowships open to international students for graduate study in the US. The panel will be most useful to non-US citizen students seeking funding for 2021-22 or later. Please share the announcement below with international students in all fields of study, undergraduates, graduate students and alumni. All are welcome, including undocumented students.

WHAT: A panel of three-five current UW graduate fellows describe their experiences and offer tips on applying for fellowships as international students. To maximize the benefit you receive from this panel, we recommend reading about the fellowship(s) you want to pursue before you attend the panel session.

FOR WHO: UW undergrads and alumni planning to pursue graduate study, current UW graduate/professional students, who are citizens of countries other than the US.

APPLICATION DEADLINES: Deadlines to apply for these fellowships fall throughout the year, from October 2020-May 2021 for the 2021-22 academic year.
