Campus Sustainability Month events in October!

October is National Campus Sustainability Month, and there are several events coming up showcasing sustainability efforts across UW! Information on a few are below, or visit green.uw.edu/fair  to see the full list. Tuesday, Oct. 13: Talking Sustainability at UW

12-2 p.m.  |  Zoom link

Drop in anytime between 12-2 p.m. with your sustainability questions! UW Recycling (12-1 p.m.) and Transportation Services (1-1:30 p.m.) will join UW Sustainability to talk about sustainability efforts at the UW and answer your questions!

 

Thursday, Oct. 15: Tri-campus discussion: Sustainability at UW

Join staff from all three UW campuses for short presentations and an open Q&A as part of National Campus Sustainability Month. Submit your questions in advance and we will do our best to answer!

 

Wednesday, Oct. 21: Climate Justice Dialog

1:30-3:30 p.m.  |  Hosted by UW Bothell and Cascadia College  |  RSVP here

Three experts speak on elements of climate change that will affect our region, and then participants will breakout for discussions about these concerns and ways individuals and groups can work together to find solutions. Hosted by UW Bothell and Cascadia College, in partnership with UW Seattle and UW Tacoma. Registration is required.
