The Transportation Equity Survey, Open until October 21

Submitted by Colleen Park on October 14, 2020 - 4:17pm

I’ve been working all summer on an equity- driven transportation survey with SDOT and now it’s finally live. The purpose of the survey is to create more equity within our transportation network by targeting the survey responses to specific underserved groups.

To see the list of our target populations and read more about my work, please visit https://www.seattle.gov/transportation/projects-and-programs/programs/transportation-equity-program/equity-workgroup

Here is a link to the survey in English: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/2tewsurvey2020

The link is specific to me so SDOT can track how many survey responses I collect. If you would like the survey in a language other than English, please email me with the languages you need and I will provide them for you.

The survey will remain live until October 21.  The first 60 people who complete this survey will receive a $25 VISA gift card.  You do not need to live in Seattle to take the survey. You just need to live, play, work, go to school, worship, or commute to Seattle for any reason. The survey takes about 30 minutes.

You are encouraged to share this survey widely with students, family or others in your personal, professional and community networks. Just please be mindful of the people we are most trying to reach by referencing the link above. SDOT especially has difficulty getting feedback from folks who work outside of traditional 9am-5pm hours like hourly food-service workers janitors etc., and people who are experiencing housing insecurity, so if you are connected to those folks, please encourage them. I’ve also attached a QR code to the English version of the survey if that helps your ability to share it with others.
