I'm happy to announce that the Department of Asian Languages and Literature has created a new scholarship, the Robert W. Libbey Chinese Language Scholarship for Navy and Marine Veterans. The scholarship awards between $3,000 and $6,000 to students (both undergrad and grad) for use during the following academic year. Students must be eligible veterans and either Chinese language majors or minors, or planning to study Chinese language during the next academic year. Please share the announcement below with any students who might be eligible.

Please consider applying for the 2021 Robert W. Libbey Chinese Language Scholarship for Navy and Marine Veterans! This brand new scholarship awards up to $6,000 to eligible undergraduate or graduate students who are either Chinese language majors or minors or who plan to enroll in Chinese language classes during the following academic year (any major).
