UW’s Community Engagement & Leadership Education (CELE) Center is hiring dynamic AmeriCorps members for 2021-2022 through our Dream Project program!

The CELE Center provides students with opportunities to develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes needed to contribute to thriving communities; building authentic community and campus partnerships drive our work. Learn more about the CELE Center’s programs here.

AmeriCorps members will collectively oversee large-scale operations, including recruitment efforts, supporting student interns, creating lecture content, and planning and facilitating professional developments.

Open positions: 

UW Dream Project 

AmeriCorps members will begin their term on August 16, 2021 and end their term by July, 15 2022 (upon successful completion of 1700 hours).

  • The Curriculum & Student Support Coordinator will assist with the creation and facilitation of UW Dream Project lectures, compile resources on post-secondary pathways, support the UW Dream Project’s mentorship program, and lead CELE recruitment efforts. 

  • The Internship Support & Training Coordinator will create and facilitate professional development sessions for CELE undergraduate interns, including College and Career Readiness Assistant interns and Undergraduate Community Based Interns (UCBI). They will also provide general intern support.

*Hiring for all AmeriCorps positions is contingent upon AmeriCorps funding.
