Greetings from the Foster Global Business Center (GBC),

This year there are 4 Foster Exploration Seminars happening during Early Fall Start 2022 that are open to all UW undergraduate students. The application deadline is March 1, 2022 at 11:59pm.

 

These programs are focused on experiential learning through company and cultural visits. There are no prerequisites, students just need to be interested in learning about how business is done abroad. Please share with interested students.

 

Foster Exploration Seminars for Early Fall Start 2022 (earn 5 credits of IBUS 490 towards Fall Q 2022):

  • Business India - travel through India with Prof. Abhinav Gupta and Aaron Robertson, learning about social impact enterprises through company and cultural visits; cost: $5,275 (includes all meals) - watch the 2018 video
  • Business Ireland - visit multinationals in Dublin and the major sites throughout Ireland with Prof. Leta Beard and Lindsey Friessing; cost: $4,620
  • Business Britain - live in London for 3 weeks and learn about this exciting business hub of Europe with Prof. Christina Nichols and Roya Zahed; cost: $4,620 - watch the 2019 video
  • Business Australia - travel to multiple cities on Australia's east coast learning about the interconnections between business, government and society with Prof. Tod Bergstrom and Angela Shelley; cost: $4,420

The costs listed above cover the credits earned, housing and program activities. You pay the amount listed instead of your UW tuition.
