Government Mentorship Program - Winter 2023

Interested in a career that provides services to the public while often working for the public’s best interest in mind? People who pursue careers in government develop skills in writing, public speaking, coalition building, interpersonal and intercultural communication, conflict resolution, outreach, systems-thinking, analysis and problem solving. Join this program to explore professional development topics and learn about different roles in government. Participants will meet virtually with a mentor and small group of 4-6 like-minded students during winter quarter 2023.
Application Criteria:
- Undergraduate student at UW Seattle
- Must have completed 3 quarters at UW or transferred to UW with the equivalent credits
- Must be available during the Winter 2023 quarter on Tuesdays or Wednesdays from 4:00-7:00pm
