There will be a mass protest for Iran on UW Seattle campus this Wednesday, Nov 30th, on Red Square at 12:30 PM PST. Please share this advertising with your respective departments' students/faculty. Attached is a flyer ad as well.

"As the Uprising in Iran enters its 3rd month, many protestors have been arrested, beaten, harassed, and killed for standing up for their rights. The UN has condemned the Islamic Republic for its brutal crackdowns and has formed a fact-finding investigative team for Iran. Over these 3 months, many students and children in Iran have taken part in protests, and have been unrightfully beaten, arrested, threatened, killed, poisoned in dorms, and even sexually assaulted in prison by the IRGC and Basij forces. The islamic government has deployed military and is using banned weapons on civilians as well as psychological warfare. There will be mass protests all around the world in Universities to demonstrate solidarity with and raise awareness for Iran's freedom. Please join us this Wednesday, Nov 30th at 12:30 PM at Red Square at the UW in protest for Iran. This is a revolution in progress. Signs/flags are welcome as well.
