Students in need of a creative outlet and/or a 1-credit A&H course, there's space available in MUSAP 138, Class Voice. Despite what it says on the time schedule and in MyPlan, there's no prerequisite required! However, students will need an add code to register which can be requested from the instructor, Lim Forgey, at lforgey@uw.edu.
Singing is a great way to learn how to breathe, connect with others, improve public presentation skills, and it might also help people suffering from long Covid!
MUSAP 138 provides opportunities to sing different styles of songs: classical, folk, musical theater, and jazz/gospel. There is also opportunity for students to work on a song of their choice, as well as field trips to opera and musical theater productions.
Details: MUSAP 138, SLN 17963 1 cr. Meets in-person Mondays from 12:30-1:20 in the Music building, room 213. Questions? Contact lforgey@uw.edu.
