International Trade Policy and Research Internship

The intern will be part of the Global Access team assisting with international trade research, monitoring regulatory changes, and data collection and management. The ideal candidate is:
- junior or senior undergraduate student;
- a student of international affairs, political science, economics, business administration, agricultural sciences or related fields;
- interested in learning about foreign policy;
- detail oriented and organized; and
- advanced knowledge of Excel and handling databases.
This is a paid internship at $18.69/hour. The intern is expected to commit 15 hours per week for in person work at our Seattle office, but we are flexible when coordinating with class schedules. The internship will run from February 15th, through June 15th.
The position is competitive, and interns are given substantive work, gain exposure to international trade issues, and gain experience in working in a professional office setting. Upon successful completion of an internship, interns are provided with interview training and letters of recommendation, if appropriate.
