ASUW Student Disability Commission is Hiring! Deadlines in April

Hello!
I wanted to share with you that the ASUW Student Disability Commission is now hiring new leaders for the 2023 - 2024 school year. It has been an honor to serve as the Director for the past 2 years, and am beyond excited to pass the torch to next generation of disabled student leaders at the UW. 
If you don't already know, the SDC is a disabled student-run and led advocacy organization in the undergraduate student government (ASUW) committed to disability justice, universal design, and meeting the needs of the disability community at the UW. The Commission is composed of two paid employees, a Director & Assistant Director, and a team of volunteer-based interns. 
 
Applications and job descriptions are now live on UW Handshake for the SDC Director and Assistant Director roles: 
 
SDC Director: 
Applications due April 9th at 11:59pm 
Estimated pay is $19.50 per hour 
 
SDC Assistant Director: 
Applications due April 16th at 11:59pm 
Estimated pay is $19.00-19.50 per hour 
15 hours/week, 31 weeks total (Fall-Spring academic year) 
 
Perks of the Job: 
Salaried position 
Paid during academic holidays and breaks 
Full access to an accessible office space in the HUB 
Work schedules are completely customizable Can work remote/hybridlike at times (note: the positions are intended to be in-person roles)
