Dear Spring 2023 Graduates:
If you are graduating in Spring 2023 and have NOT already applied to graduate (check MyUW or your degree audit first), the deadline to apply is Friday, April 14th.
Choose ONE of the options below to start your graduation application:
- UW NetID
- UW Student #
- Expected Graduation Quarter (state that you want to graduate in spring 2023)
- Political Science Major That You Are Completing: General Major, Political Economy Option, or International Security Option
- Other majors/degrees that you are completing. You must apply for graduation with each program.
- Minors that you are completing, including if you need to add or drop a minor.
- Honors programs completed: Departmental Honors and/or College/Interdisciplinary Honors.
A Political Science adviser will reply and send you instructions on how to complete submission of your application. In some cases, an adviser may need to meet with you before submitting the application.

An appointment is recommended only if you have questions or concerns about graduation that need to be discussed in more detail.
Summer 2023 Graduates: The summer graduation application deadline is July 7th; however, if you would like to participate in UW's Commencement activities, start your graduation application by emailing polsadvc@uw.edu by Thursday, April 13th and be sure to include the details listed above. A Political Science Adviser will contact you and will send you instructions on how to complete the application.
