Join us for a brand-new course aimed at helping STEM students (and especially ESS pre-majors and current majors) interested in Geosciences make the most of their time at UW. We will explore topics related to majoring in and pursuing a career in STEM broadly and ESS specifically. Topics include:
  • networking
  • finding community in college
  • societal attitudes toward and pressures around STEM majors
  • diversity and equity issues in STEM and ESS
  • mental health
  • undergraduate research
  • graduate school
  • careers in the geosciences and related fields.
