We are currently seeking a passionate individual looking to learn more about local politics and political campaign work. As an Outreach Coordinator intern, you will work to engage the community regarding Andrew’s priorities and encourage civic participation within District 7. You will help organize and attend events, canvass, and learn about local politics. The Outreach Coordinator must be able to work on weekends. This is an unpaid position and individuals can expect to work up to 5-8 hours a week.
Primary Responsibilities:

Assist with canvassing to encourage civic engagement

Attend and organize campaign related events to build support

Aid in managing and training volunteers

Develop strategies to further increase support and engagement from the community
Qualifications:

A shared vision for Seattle aligning with the campaign's values and goals

An understanding of Seattle's political landscape

Previous campaign experience and/or openness to learn
