Are you passionate about local politics, civic engagement, and the future of Seattle? We are currently seeking enthusiastic invividuals to join Cathy Moore’s campaign for District 5 Seattle City Council as volunteer interns for the summer.
Cathy Moore, a lifelong Seattleite and former judge, is devoted to paving a better future for the next generation and enhancing the present for our existing citizens. Her campaign is driven by a commitment to serve the city we love, to foster equitable growth, sustainable development, and social justice. We need your help to make this vision a reality.
**Responsibilities:**
As a Campaign Intern, you will be instrumental in our grassroots community outreach. This includes:
- Canvassing door-to-door in District 5, informing residents about Cathy Moore and her platform
- Collecting signatures for petitions, donations, and garnering support from the community
- Using your mobile device to log canvassing data, including collected signatures and donations
- Representing the campaign in a professional manner, reflecting Cathy's dedication to the community
**Requirements:**
- Currently enrolled as a college student
- Ability to walk for extended periods of time as part of door-to-door canvassing
- Possess an upbeat and positive attitude, with strong interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with mobile apps/data entry
- Interest in politics, community outreach, and public service
