We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our campaign team for Preston Anderson for Seattle City Council as Director of Outreach. As the Director of Outreach, you will play a critical role in initiating our direct engagement, building coalitions, speaking with voters, canvassing, doorbeling, and mobilizing diverse communities.
This is an excellent role for someone who wants to grasp campaign experience. The position will give you a strong understanding of political dynamics, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in community engagement and advocacy.
Responsibilities:
- - Implement comprehensive outreach strategies to engage and mobilize diverse communities, including but not limited to grassroots organizations, advocacy groups, community leaders, and influencers.
- Identify potential coalition partners, forge alliances, and lead efforts to build broad-based coalitions to advance the organization's political objectives.- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders such as community leaders, elected officials, political organizations, and interest groups to establish partnerships, alliances, and collaborative initiatives.
