Andrew Lewis’s Re-Election Campaign, Seattle District 7

Outreach Coordinator Intern

Deadline is September 1st and applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.

We are currently seeking a passionate individual looking to learn more about local politics and political campaign work. As the Outreach Coordinator intern, you will work to engage the community regarding Andrew’s priorities and encourage civic participation within District 7. The Outreach Coordinator must be able to work on weekends. Due to tight campaign finance limits, we are unable to offer a paid position. We are happy to make this a flexible position in terms of hours to meet the goals of your internship!

You are not required to live in District 7 for this position!

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist with direct voter outreach via canvassing and events 

  • Attend and organize campaign related events to build support

  • Aid in managing and training volunteers

  • Develop strategies to increase support and engagement from the community

  • Attend weekly strategy meetings

Qualifications:

  • Availability to work some evenings and weekends

  • A shared vision for Seattle aligning with the values and goals of the campaign

  • Willingness to learn
