We are Selin Baytan and Amal Deochand, Co-Editors-In-Chief of the Michigan Journal of Political Science. We hope you are doing well as the fall semester starts back up! We are reaching out to you today to request that you forward our new call for undergraduate political science papers to University of Washington students who are interested in the realm of Political Science as we begin the process for our Fall 2023 Edition. We believe this would be a great opportunity for University of Washington students to showcase their essays and research papers and be published in our historic journal.
We are a student-run, undergraduate publication affiliated with the University of Michigan Department of Political Science. Since 1981, our mission has been to foster discussions on contemporary and thought provoking political issues in a non-partisan, academic fashion. For our Fall 2023 Edition, we hope to continue the same commitment to pursuing diverse and intricate topics in the distinct fields of Political Science to make better sense of the world around us as we have in our previous editions. The Michigan Journal of Political Science has previously been ranked by UNESCO as one of the top 50 undergraduate journals, and our publication would only gain more prestige in publishing your students’ work.
