Submitted by Albert Sub Yun on

The National Bureau of Asian Research (NBR) is pleased to announce that the Slade Gorton Policy Center’s Gorton Leaders Program (GLP) Fellowship is accepting applications for 2024. The deadline for applications is November 26, 2023.

The GLP provides 6-month policy leadership fellowships to a select group of undergraduate, community college, or graduate students in the Pacific Northwest so that they can learn about the late Senator Slade Gorton’s legacy and policy, the think tank industry, and issues of strategic importance to the United States in Asia. Fellows will receive mentorship and participate in regular roundtable discussions with leading academics, business leaders, and policymakers from January to June 2024. Interested applicants can learn more about the program at www.nbr.org/glp or by contacting fellowships@nbr.org. Virtual consultations and information sessions are available upon request.

If any of your students or colleagues may be interested in the program, please forward them this email or share the contact information in this email. I would also be happy to answer any questions you may have about the program. Thank you for taking the time to share about this important opportunity.
