This quarter, the colloquium will be hosting four events: these will include two talks by PhD students from the UW Political Science Department, as well as visits from two exceptional guest speakers. Papers will be circulated one week in advance. See the attached flyer for details.
We will host our next seminar at noon on Thursday, January 25th in Gowen 1A. Our speaker will be Dennis Young, a PhD candidate from our department. His paper title is Quantifying the Homeland: Metrics, Race, & Bureaucracy in the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
