The Rainier Institute for Foreign Affairs is an undergraduate-run think tank and RSO at UW. We are hosting another speaker event on February 2nd with economist Professor Badri Gopalakrishnan. Below is a short description of the speaker and a poster for the event. The topic of the speaker event is Global Trade Policy.
Professor Badri Gopalakrishnan is an economist and former Lead Advisor for NITI Aayog, India's apex public policy think tank. While at NITI Aayog, Prof Gopalakrishnan headed a Vision India@2047 Development Unit and co-chaired an EU-India Joint-taskforce on AI. Additionally, he is an Associate Faculty Member of both the University of Washington and Boston College.
