Submitted by Stephen Dunne on February 1, 2024 - 2:59pm

Are you interested in an internship with a D.C. organization while earning UW credit? If yes, attend a Zoom information session for The Washington Center (TWC) on Friday, February 23rd, from 1:30-2:30pm!

Once you register, TWC will send you the Zoom link. The session will be recorded--if you register but can't attend, TWC will send you the link to the recording.

TWC has internship opportunities available for students in any major and works with students one-on-one to land an internship that fits their goals and interests. Through UW’s partnership with TWC, you will:

  • Gain real-world experience with an internship tailored to your interests

  • Join a professional network of mentors, advisors and 60,000+ alumni
  • Map your career path and gain the skills you need to launch a career you’ll love!
At the information session, a TWC representative will describe the structure of their internship program and the application process. We'll also cover the cost of the program (including how to use financial aid and the availability of scholarships) and UW credit, and there will be time to answer your questions.

TWC's facilities in Washington, D.C., are accessible to students who have disabilities. In addition, their Disability Services Coordinator will assist with accommodation at the internship and programming sites.
