We are excited to announce the launch of the 2024-2025 Future Leaders in Law Application. The Future Leaders in Law Program, in partnership with Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP (Paul, Weiss), is a yearlong pre-law program designed to elevate, inspire, empower, and impact the lives of each program participant and the legal profession by focusing on early talent generation and igniting excitement about law as a career path. The program, launched in 2023, welcomed its inaugural cohort last summer and is seeking a new community of scholars for the coming year.
The application is available now through the Future Leaders in Law website. All application materials must be submitted electronically by April 7, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. EDT.
About the Program
Future Leaders in Law is designed to prepare participants for admission to law schools around the nation. This program is fully funded, with all costs covered to participate, including transportation and lodging, and preparation materials.
Core Program Components
- Summer residency at Harvard Law School & Paul, Weiss (July 12, 2024 – July 21, 2024)
- Law School Admissions Test (LSAT) preparation course, led by Advantage Testing
- Empowerment Seminars
- Mentorship by program affiliates
- Harvard Law School's online Zero-L® program
Eligibility Applicants must:
- Be in pursuit of an undergraduate degree with an expected graduation date of 2024 or 2025 OR be a recent graduate (Class of 2021, Class of 2022, and Class of 2023).
- Have a 3.3 cumulative undergraduate GPA.
- Intend to apply for a J.D. program for matriculation starting Fall 2026.
- Be at least 18 years old as of the program start date.
- Commit to attending and participating in all core program components.
