The Legislative Intern at CWHBA will work closely with their local area Government Affairs team and gain valuable experience in policy advocacy, research, and legislative strategy. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with research on state and federal legislation impacting the building industry
  • Help prepare briefing materials, reports, and presentations for legislative meetings
  • Attend legislative sessions and hearings, providing support as needed
  • Communicate with policymakers, stakeholders, and industry professionals
  • Contribute to developing advocacy strategies for key issues affecting the industry

What We're Looking For:

  • Current student or recent graduate with an interest in public policy, government affairs, or the building industry
  • Strong communication and writing skills
