This is a final reminder about the end-of-quarter deadlines previously sent to you by the Office of the University Registrar on February 27th. Click here for that message
-
Friday, March 14: Current Quarter Drop (CQD) Deadline to drop one or more winter classes. The CQD policy and instructions are posted at https://registrar.washington.edu/students/current-quarter-drop/
-
Read the policy carefully BEFORE dropping classes. This is especially important if you are required to be enrolled full time like students on financial aid, F-1 or J-1 international students with an I-20 or DS-2019 form, and NCAA athletes.
-
Use the self-serve process to drop one course after Week 2
-
Use the Adviser-Assisted Drop Request Process if you have already dropped a course or to drop more than one class.
-
Friday, March 21: S/NS Grading Option Deadline. Grading Option Change instructions are posted at https://registrar.washington.edu/students/goc/.
-
S/NS grades do not count toward degree requirements
-
S/NS grading is limited to a maximum of 25 credits
-
After the quarter ends, S and NS grades can be changed to numeric grades using the Late Grading Option Change Petition if students need numeric grades to satisfy degree requirements.
