University of Washington's Nu chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha, the National Political Science Honors Society, has been awarded a Best Chapter Award for 2024-2025.
The award recognizes local chapters that are particularly active in their institutions and communities and embody the society’s mission to stimulate scholarship and intellectual interest in political science. Professor Margaret Perez-Brower served as faculty advisor to the chapter and is recognized for her extraordinary leadership and dedication to the students who are members of the chapter.
The Nu chapter was awarded along with five other chapters from institutions similar in size, out of over 830 Pi Sigma Alpha chapters. The UW Nu Chapter was recognized for the chapter’s achievements in developing activities promoting civic engagement.
