As one of the most prominent American holidays, Thanksgiving dinner is something many international students at UW are eager to experience. This year, CIRCLE invites you to support our international students by welcoming them into your home to share your meal and traditions! In doing so, you'll not only be sharing a special holiday, you'll be showing them how important they are to our community and campus during a challenging year for international students.
Each Thanksgiving host will be matched with one or more (you tell us) students ranging from first-year undergraduates to Ph.D. candidates. Our students come from all over the world, representing more than 100 countries. You will be able to indicate below if you have a preference for hosting students from a particular region or area of study -- we will try our best to match you up!
Please help us spread the word by sharing this with your colleagues. For this year, we are limiting participation to current UW staff and faculty only.
To minimize risk to all parties, we ask that, regardless of age, you do not serve alcoholic beverages to students.
