I am now offering this undergraduate seminar quarterly again. For Winter 2026, the SLN is 15143. It's a great 1 credit, C/NC seminar that definitely includes things like robots, AI, CRISPR and nanotech, but it also focuses on things like economic forecasting, policy studies, and design thinking. The seminar is discussion-oriented with a mini-lecture each session followed by a discussion of the week's homework assignment and articles that students find each week related to their particular area of study.
