The Michigan Journal of Political Science is a student-run, undergraduate publication affiliated with the University of Michigan Department of Political Science, recognized by UNESCO as a top undergraduate journal. Since 1981, our mission has been to foster discussions of contemporary thought-provoking political issues by publishing original academic, non-partisan undergraduate papers. For our Winter 2026 edition, we hope to continue our commitment to a future where political science research is transparent, accessible, and helpful in understanding the world around us. The Michigan Journal of Political Science is accepting papers for its Winter 2026 edition until February 20th, 2026. Please submit analyses of contemporary American Politics, International Politics, Comparative Politics, or Political Theory of 4,000 to 18,000 words in length to our online form
