Greece Program Sum 2026
**GREECE SUMMER 2026 STUDY ABROAD PROGRAM**
Applications are now open for the JSIS Greece & Sustainability Study Abroad Program, now in its 21st year. Students spend nine weeks from June 16 to August 15, 2026 in Athens and the resort town of Nafplio conducting interviews with local residents on sustainability while earning 17 UW credits.
The program is hosted by the American College of Greece and the Harvard Center for Hellenic Studies in Greece.
The program is open to students from a wide range of majors, and no prior background in Greek studies is required. Students conduct interviews in Athens and bring that data back with us to analyze and submit to peer-reviewed journals for publication. Two such papers have been published and a third tentatively accepted.
Priority application deadline is March 1. The program fee is $7,995.00. You can apply Financial Aid towards study abroad and there are also scholarship opportunities offered through the Hellenic Studies program with an application deadline April 15, 2026.
