- The Fulbright Program in Korea seeks to build mutual understanding and to share knowledge across communities while enhancing the lives of grantees. Join us for an opportunity to meet with Bret Kim, Executive Director of the Fulbright Korea Commission. Hear about the commission's initiatives and funded opportunities in Korea.

- This session will provide a basic overview of the Fulbright U.S. Student Program, including the various program types, application components, and the process of submitting an application through the University of Washington. Intro to Global Fellowships | Tuesday, April 30 from 3:30-5:00 pm | Zoom
- Come meet with the UW fellowship advisors and bring your questions about starting the Global Fellowship process to our kick-off event. There will be an opportunity to meet with advisors and other UW students who are beginning the fellowship application process and to ask questions during our Q&A.
- We support fellowships including the Fulbright U.S. Student Program, DAAD, UK Awards, and more.

UW Alumni Reunion, Class Gifts & Spence Scholarships | UW Deadline: April 16
The UW Alumni Reunion, Class Gifts & Spence Scholarships are sponsored by the University of Washington alumni classes of 1954, 1957, and 1962 in honor of their 50th class reunions, the UW 50th Reunion Student Assistance Fund, the UW Class of 1955 Endowment Community Service Award, UW Class of 2016, Impact and Diversity Endowed Scholarship and the Alan R. Spence Transfer Student Support Fund. Most scholarships are open to all undergraduate students, all campuses, all years (including graduating seniors), all citizenship statuses (including international students and undocumented students). Award range: $500-$2,000.
UK Scholarships for graduate study and research: UW nomination application open now | UW Deadline: June 22
Marshall Scholarships, Rhodes Scholarships, Churchill Scholarships, Gates Cambridge Scholarships and Chevening Scholarships all fund graduate studies and research at universities in the UK. UW nomination is required for some, but not all. Advising is available for all. Explore the official websites and attend upcoming events to learn more:

Scholarship & Academic Opportunities
NHSC Scholarship Program | Deadline: April 16
The National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Scholarship Program awards scholarships to students pursuing eligible primary care health professions training. In return, you commit to providing primary care health services in a Health Professional Shortage Area for a minimum of two years or a maximum of four years of service. The scholarship covers: tuition and eligible fees, items including books, health insurance, and equipment, monthly stipends to assist with living expenses while pursuing your degree. Must be a U.S Citizen and enrolled as full-time student.
Marcy Migdal Fund for Educational Equality | Deadline: April 23
The Marcy Migdal Fund supports exceptional students engaged in activities aimed at enhancing access to education for vulnerable students, either locally or throughout the world, and helping them succeed in their education. The Marcy Migdal Scholarship currently provides up to two UW students per academic year with cash awards of $1,500 each to oversee and complete a community-focused project.
Undergraduate Student Research Award | Deadline: April 30
The University Libraries recognizes the excellence and creativity of students through the annual Library Research Award for Undergraduates. The award is given to undergraduates who demonstrate outstanding ability to find, evaluate, and synthesize library and other information resources in the creation of an original course project, either as an individual, or as a group. Award amount: $250-$1,000.
Homecoming Scholars Program | Deadline: May 3
The UWAA will select eight students to be Homecoming Scholars. Each scholar is awarded a $5,000 scholarship and recognized at the Homecoming football game in the fall. Open to UW undergraduate and graduate students who will be enrolled in fall 2026. Open to students from all backgrounds and those at all UW campuses.
Harry Bridges Labor Studies Scholarships | Deadline: May 4
This scholarship fund supports undergraduates and Graduate students interested in social justice and labor-related studies. Individual award amounts range from $1,000 to $10,000. Students at any of the three University of Washington campuses (Seattle, Bothell or Tacoma) are eligible to apply.
Carnegie Young Leaders for Civic Preparedness | Deadline: May 4
Carnegie Young Leaders for Civic Preparedness is looking for young people between the ages of 14 and 24 who are ready to step up, bridge divides, and tackle pressing issues in their communities. Up to $7,500 awarded.

Y Social Impact Center’s Get Engaged Program (through the City of Seattle) | Deadline: April 24
U.S. Congress – Republic of Korea National Assembly Exchange Program | Deadline: April 24
This joint exchange program combines professional meetings, briefings from government officials and private sector specialists, peer interaction, and cultural activities. Eight Korean university students and young adults and a group leader from the Republic of Korea National Assembly will participate in the U.S. program and an equivalent group from the U.S. will participate in the U.S. and Korea program.
Student Positions, Ethnic Cultural Center (Fall 2026-Spring 2027)
Summer 2026 Enrichment Classroom Aides, Robinson Center for Young Scholars
This is a temporary, in-person role on the UW Seattle campus running from June 15 – July 24, 2026, supporting our Summer Challenge (grades 5–6) and Summer Stretch (grades 7–10) programs. Classroom Aides play a vital role in creating an engaging, supportive learning environment by assisting instructors, supervising students, and supporting daily classroom activities.
Position highlights:
- Hourly pay: $21.77 – $26.31
- Work directly with academically motivated youth in a dynamic classroom setting
- Gain experience in education, youth development, and enrichment programming
- Collaborate with instructors and program staff in a highly engaging summer program
