From Seed Intellectual Property Law Group:
Seed IP is hosting a virtual educational panel for students and early-career professionals who may be curious about career pathways in patent law and intellectual property.
Event: Discovering Careers in Patent Law and Intellectual Property
Date/Time: October 28th at 12:00 p.m. Pacific
Format: Virtual educational panel
Audience: Undergraduate, graduate, business, STEM, pre-law, and law students, as well as recent graduates and early-career professionals exploring IP-related pathways
This will be a virtual introduction to a stable, specialized career field where law, innovation, technology, brands, creative work, and IP law firm operations intersect. Students do not need prior knowledge of intellectual property or a current plan to attend law school. The discussion will introduce pathways including trademark, copyright, patent prosecution, patent litigation, patent agent roles, technical roles, and IP law firm operations, with practical examples of how students and professionals can begin exploring the field.
We will also share updates on Seed IP’s website and social media in the coming weeks, including selected panelists and additional event details.
