Biography
Martha S. Feldman (UW Class of 1976), Johnson Chair for Civic Governance and Public Management at the University of California, Irvine, is a distinguished scholar and teacher in Political Science and related fields. Professor Feldman (MA / PhD Stanford University) is an internationally prominent scholar of organizations, organizational routines, and management practices for inclusion that enhance community and democratic participation. Professor Feldman has published four scholarly books (including one started as a UW undergraduate) and over 100 articles and book chapters. She has won numerous major scholarly awards, is a Fellow of the Academy of Management, and holds honorary doctorates from St. Gallen School of Management and Hanken School of Economics.
